Birth Doula Support
As a birth doula, my job is to understand the physiology of birth and be tuned in to the emotional needs of a woman in labor.
I provide physical, emotional, and informational support to women and their partners throughout pregnancy, hands-on in labor, and early postpartum.
I am there to guide you and hold space for your needs.
I am well-versed in childbirth education and the local hospitals and midwives and can provide valuable information and local resources to help expectant parents in Watertown NY, Fort Drum, & Thousand Islands make truly informed decisions.
My goal is to help you feel informed of all your options, confident in making your own decisions for your body & baby, and empowered to ask more questions & embrace your autonomy as you prepare to welcome your baby.
The Nest
Clients will receive:

2 prenatal visits (approximately 1.5 - 2 hours each visit)

In those visits, we cover:

Childbirth education, understanding your options, & decision making

help with birth plan creation with a focus on why your preferences are important to you

mom & partner mental & physical preparation for labor

postpartum planning

On-call availability 24/7 starting at 38 weeks of pregnancy through the birth of your child(ren)

In-person support during labor and birth, and immediate postpartum support for up to 2 hours following your child’s birth

1 postpartum home visit (approximately 90 minutes)

Unlimited email and text support through the start of our work together until 2 weeks postpartum

Access to my library of pregnancy, labor, & postpartum resources & birth tools
