Birth Plan, Body Prep, & Postpartum Check In
This package includes everything from a doula services package without my physical attendance at your birth and the addition of a prenatal movement session.
Great for someone who wants the planning and childbirth education component of my doula services but can’t or does not want a doula physically present at the birth.
You’ll get:
2 prenatal meetings that help you set goals, clarify preferences, and plan for postpartum.
1 prenatal movement / birth prep session
Text and call support during labor and birth
1 postpartum check in.
Which includes:

Childbirth Education & Labor Positions
Birth Plan, Preferences, & Goals
Release Tension & Improve Hip Mobility
Rhythmic Breathing Techniques
Preparing Mind & Body for Childbirth & Postpartum
Relaxation & Stress Reduction
First Prenatal Meeting: Birth Plan Creation & Preferences
Visualization of the birth you want and be clear with each other about your wishes.
Discuss different medical interventions, the risks and benefits of these, and how these might or might not fit into your birth plan / preferences.
get really specific about how you want the birthing space to look and feel during labor and if there are things that you definitely don’t want to be said or done in your birthing space.
I encourage your partner to join in with questions or comments and I help the two of you communicate feelings you are having as labor and birth get closer.
Act out different laboring positions. I think it is essential to move your body in different ways throughout pregnancy, including various positions that aid in labor progression or pushing because then you aren’t trying to figure it out during a contraction! (this will tie into the private movement session as well)
Second Prenatal Meeting: Preparing For Labor, Birth, & Postpartum Planning
Go over your birth plan and preferences again (as things may have changed).
Check-in on how you are feeling and how you are preparing for labor and birth.
Discuss plans you have in place for different pieces of your life for when you go into labor (older children, pets, work).
Discuss breastfeeding, pumping, and formula feeding and your plans or questions you have surrounding that.
Go over your postpartum planning and address any lingering questions or concerns you may have surrounding birth or the immediate postpartum time.
Private Movement / Birth Prep Sessions (with or without partner)
Can be worked into your prenatal meetings or be at separate times. Read more here.
Virtual Labor Support
I will be available for text and call support during labor and birth. This is great too if you can’t have or don’t want another support person physically in the room while you give birth.
This is a way to get knowledgeable support for a lower price. While I won’t be there to provide hands-on support, I will be available to answer questions and provide support.
Postpartum Check-in With Doula (About 10-14 days Post-Birth)
I’ll listen as you tell me about your birth experience from your point-of-view and how things have been going for you and your family postpartum (physical healing, emotional wellbeing).
Provide resources and referrals to other professionals if you have a specific need in your postpartum healing. This might include a pelvic floor therapist, a mental health professional, a lactation consultant, or a nutrition consultant.
Make sure you and your partner have or can get the personal support you need to weather the newborn stage.
Total $550
